What's new in v1.0.2
- Fixed: "Open file" and "Show in folder" buttons doing nothing. They no longer fail silently when the download folder changed, the drive-letter case differed, or settings came from another PC. If a file was moved or deleted, Yankit now opens the containing folder and tells you.
- Editor-compatible video by default (H.264). New toggle in Settings (on by default). Footage now imports cleanly into Premiere, Resolve, etc. Re-encoding only happens when the source isn't already H.264, so normal downloads stay fast and lossless.
- More robust across machines. A download path that doesn't exist on this PC (e.g. synced from another computer/user) is auto-corrected to your Downloads folder.
- Security/cleanup: web server binds to localhost only, added a Content-Security-Policy, removed dead code.
Windows: download Yankit-Setup.exe below and run it.
