This is the official documentation of Safecor.
In these pages you will find every information needed to start creating a product with Safecor but also develop for Safecor if you are a contributer.
Safecor is a software architecture designed for the creation of security products.
With Safecor you can rely on a strong, reliable and secured core for your security products, and only focus on value creation.
The design rules enlighten the strategic approach of simplicity, leanness and security of the core.
Our goal is: You don't care about the security but you benefit from a high level of security. Have a look at the architecture to learn more about the security design.
The Safecor project provides different binaries:
- An Alpine Linux packages repository that contains all packages to build and maintain a Safecor-based product.
- A diagnostic app ISO file that can be used to create a DVD-ROM or an USB key to verify a machine's compatibility (see also Tested hardware).
For developers:
- A functional tests app ISO file that can be used to create a DVD-ROM or an USB key to test the compliance of the Safecor system.
Currently the system only handles x86 64bit architecture. ARM64 architecture is a work-in-progress.
See the prerequisites page for the technical prerequisites.
