Let’s be honest: not everyone gets excited about opening Terminal.
Until now, that’s exactly what macOS users had to do to use TrustTunnel. With version 1.2, those days are over. TrustTunnel is now available in the App Store, introducing a new, but familiar interface and native macOS features. And while we were at it, we also made troubleshooting easier for everyone with built-in log export.
TrustTunnel is now available for macOS
TrustTunnel is no longer limited to the command line. With v1.2, you can download TrustTunnel directly from the Mac App Store and use it like any other native macOS application. No terminal commands or extra setup needed — just install the app and get started.
The new client is designed to feel right at home on macOS. It includes:
- A familiar graphical interface
- A menu bar icon that lets you check your connection status at a glance
- Automatic launch when macOS starts
- Automatic connection when the app opens
Whether you’ve never used a CLI tool before or simply prefer native apps, TrustTunnel on macOS is now much more accessible.
Export logs in just a few clicks
Sometimes things don’t go as planned: a connection might fail, performance may not look quite right, or you might run into an unexpected bug. Until now, collecting the information needed to investigate these problems wasn’t always straightforward.
With TrustTunnel v1.2, every platform now includes an Export logs option in Settings. If you need help, you can quickly export your logs and share them with our support or development team.
A few finishing touches
This release also includes a small usability improvement: Query log has been renamed to Connection log, making it clearer what you’ll find in that section.
Small changes like this help make the interface easier to understand, especially for new users.
