Welcome everybody to the course!

As I have mentioned, there was a small hickup with the teaching schedule, and the course DIKI1003 NLP for Linguists was scheduled instead of DIKI1007 NLP for humanities (which is in the study plan in Peppi). However, these are the exact same courses with just different names. So passing this one here gives you the course DIKI1007 that is in Peppi.

Some useful points:

• You don't need to sign up for this course in Peppi. I will add you in the end when evaluating your work. If your name is not referrable from your username / TMC ID, please send me your ID by email, so I know whom to add in Peppi!

• To make the course more straightforward to take, there are no weekly deadlines this time. You can just do the weekly exercises one by one and then do the exam in the end. The exam is open until May 15, and also all the exercises are open until then.

• In the previous years, there has been some platform-related issues with TMC test and TMC submit. Sometimes TMC submit gives you less points than what TMC test anticipates. This is something I have battled with with CSC, and while we have managed to fix some parts of the problem, I cannot fully guarantee that this won't happen anymore. If you run into this problem, let me know. I will then evaluate your notebook manually.
