Release list
v0.2.1Pre-Alpha.1
Hi 👋
This is a minor release for my code and here is what he have done:
What we have done
- Added QOL for new editors
- Added a new API feature
This means that we have fixed an issue:
##Issue we have fixed - #11
- Some goals said in the previous patch notes
Plans for the future
Currently, I am planning to fix:
How I have changed
Not much 🤷 I have learned some new ways to use Python 🐍 but soon I want to learn more about complexity as I won't become a better programmer without faster code
🦀 moment?
Finally
Sorry guys for the quick release notes, right now I am really tired and I want to go to bed. I'm gonna tell some of my friends to try my code but let's hope this code will become something great in the future (Maybe 10k lines of code???)

What's Changed
- Added lots of QOL in the code and added and API by @TurtleGod7 in #17

v0.2.0-pre-alpha.1
Hi again!
This is the second release of my pre-alpha software and a TON of things have changed
Compared to the previous releases, we have achieved a goal 🥳 :
- Add a delete option for the car save
Talking about car save,
Changes
- Implemented an SQL (sqlite3) database #7 (Thanks @Magnus-Thomsen)
- Removed previous save features
- Implemented color
- Enchanced some code with new features like
clear() - Added an MIT license for my parents to use this code without getting sued
(this isn't going to age well)
How I have changed
As well as anyone can use this code for recreation, I am creating it and learning more about how to publish and write code in Python.
Currently, I have learned how to use more functions like SQLite3. Also, I have learned more about markdown files too. Hopefully, for the future, I can learn how to clean up the code written to look better because some AIs are telling me it is written badly.
Plans for the future
Currently, these issues are open:
- #3 (use pygame function)
- #9 (Edit the gas usage calculations)
- #10 (Fix some issues with the SQL database)
- #11 (Reminder to debug a local car save feature)
Also,
(These are issues I want to work on some taken from the previous release)
- Add a weather API
- Implement graphics (maybe, check #3 for more info)
- Move newer code features to enhance older code
- Have togglable features ex. a table that shows the Delta of car positions

What is the software:
Hi Guys! First time doing this! This is the alpha version of my software which, is a distance calculator of a virtual car in a metroplex. The program can calculate the distance the car has to travel and some other calculations by values you can set in the program. Also the program can save preset data for which cars to pick (#2) with a car selector. Right now it can be used on the latest version of Python and can be used by text.
Plans for the future!:
In the future, I am thinking of making more comprehensive calculations for the car. Maybe using an API for the weather and along those lines. However, I can say that when this software releases and leaves alpha/beta testing, I will have graphics. (Maybe pygame? #3)
Things I want to add (for sure):
- [Add a delete option for the car save]
- [Maybe add a weather API for traffic calculations]
- [Add Graphics]
Finally one more thing,
This is the first main piece of code I am making, as I just started learning Python ~4-5 months ago. I am making this software
