• More accurate dictation. Easy Talk no longer types words you didn't say. Live streaming is now only a preview: the final text comes from a full pass over your recording. Clean-up is stricter about invented words, and the recording keeps a little more audio before and after you speak, so first and last words aren't cut off.
• Cloud speech engine. You can now send speech to Groq, OpenAI or your own server instead of running it on your PC. This helps on slower laptops.
• Parakeet v3 (multilingual) is now the recommended local model.
• Better translation. Translate uses the same improved prompt as Android.

Android

• Translation that works for non-native speakers. Pick the language you translate to in Settings, and tap the chip above the bubble to turn translation on or off. Set "I speak" for the best results. If an answer comes back in the wrong language, Easy Talk retries.
• Any AI service. Choose Groq, OpenAI or your own server for speech, and add Anthropic, Gemini or OpenRouter for clean-up and translation. Keys are encrypted on your phone.
• The bubble shows up in more apps, including ChatGPT and Copilot, and types into fields that used to ignore it.
• Voice isolation. Noise reduction, plus Voice Lock, which learns your voice and ignores other people talking nearby.
• A tone for each app. Settings → Dictation → Tone lets you pick Casual, Normal or Formal for each group of apps and for individual apps, with an example of each.
• A clearer Offline mode page. See what works without internet at a glance. Speech models are listed by language, with one recommended for you. There's one button per download, and large downloads ask first on mobile data.
• A redesigned app, translated into 16 languages.

Offline AI clean-up now works on any recent phone, not just ones with Gemini Nano.

• On-phone AI clean-up. In Settings → Offline speech, download the Qwen 2.5 1.5B model (1.5 GB, one time). With no internet it fixes punctuation and grammar, formats lists, and writes numbers, money and times properly. It's lighter than online clean-up and sometimes misses self-corrections ("actually, make it Wednesday"). If your phone takes more than 8 seconds, you get the basic clean-up instead.
• Gemini Nano support was removed: Android only lets it run while Easy Talk is on screen, so it couldn't work from the bubble.
• Offline translation and the basic offline clean-up are unchanged.

Offline mode now does more than turn speech into text.

• On-device AI clean-up. On phones with Gemini Nano (recent Pixel and Galaxy flagships), Easy Talk fixes grammar and spelling offline. It works in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Korean, for dictations up to about 150 words. Settings → Offline speech shows whether your phone supports it.
• Offline translation. In Settings → Translate, download a language pack (about 30 MB) and translation works with no internet.
• Offline, Easy Talk still removes "um"s and fixes capitals and punctuation on every phone.

• By default the phone's model is used only when you're offline. You can also choose Always (everything stays on your phone) or Never.
• Offline, Easy Talk does a basic clean-up: removes "um"s and repeated words, converts "comma" and "new line", and fixes capitals and punctuation. AI clean-up, Voice Edit and Translate still need internet.
• Also includes everything from 0.1.2: dark-mode fix, ✕ / ✓ controls and the translate chip.

• Dark mode fixed. No more light strips at the top and bottom of the app.
• Wispr-style controls. Hold the bubble to talk and let go to finish. Tap it to talk hands-free, then press ✓ to finish or ✕ to cancel.
• Translate button. A small chip above the bubble shows your translate language. Tap it to switch translate on or off. Long-press it to change the language.
• The bubble has a subtle ring so it's easy to see on dark apps, and it now appears right away after an update.

• Android: Voice Edit and Translate. Select text and tap the bubble (it shows ✎) to edit it by voice, or turn on Translate in Settings and the bubble shows the language you're typing in.
• Better translations. Corrections like "Tuesday… actually, Wednesday" are now applied before translating.
• Voice Edit with nothing selected tells you to select text first, and plain dictation (like a list) is now formatted properly.
• Longer free usage. The clean-up instructions are about 40% shorter, and when Groq's free limit is reached Easy Talk switches to a second model instead of typing un-cleaned text.
• History now keeps your last 50 dictations.
