HeccBot's Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect v8's additions. Don't worry, HeccBot is still operating on a very strict policy of respecting privacy!

Added

• Localisation Module to have Command responses given in your set language on Discord ( #9 )
  • Currently, only English (UK) and English (US) is supported
• Slash Command Descriptions, and Command Option Descriptions, are also now localised in the above languages too
• Added some new responses to the Action Commands

Changes

• Updated Privacy Policy to reflect addition of the Localisation Module ( #10 )
• Tweaked a bunch of the text in various Command descriptions & responses
• Added missing Permission Checks for use of /info role on Roles managed by Integrations

Removals

• Removed the /invitebot Command that only existed for TwilightZebby's Personal Server.
• Remove the Module that logged the Guilds the Bot was added to.

Bug Fixes

• Patched an issue where HeccBot's own description would show up for other Users & Bots in /info user Command
• Patched Polls showing "NaN" (Not a Number) for Poll Choice Results with zero votes

Localisation Notes

• Ephemeral Command Responses (with the "only you can see this" bit) will be localised based on your Discord client language (as set in User Settings > Language)
• Public Command Responses will be localised based on the Server's set locale in Server Settings > Community > Overview
• For unsupported languages, HeccBot will default to English (UK).

The Future of HeccBot

I have decided to work towards making HeccBot publicly available & usable as my own General Purpose Bot (with a focus on actual "general" features, so no Moderation features, etc). As such, this is the first step towards that goal of mine. I hope that HeccBot v9 will be when I can fully release HeccBot!
