PE‑OopsSec

PE‑OopsSec is a small security analysis tool designed to detect common operational security (OPSEC) mistakes in Windows Portable Executable (PE) files.

When working with malware samples, reverse engineering projects, or custom binaries, it’s easy to overlook small details that can leak sensitive information. PE‑OopsSec automates the process of scanning PE files for indicators of poor OPSEC hygiene, helping researchers and developers avoid accidental disclosures.

Command Line Syntax

PECheck.exe <path_to_pe_file>

To check the records in a PE file

PEHash.exe <directory_path>

To check the risk of being grouped or monitored, and to track payloads
