Data

The data used to produce the analysis presented in the paper is available in the assets section of this release, namely:

• The original GTFS files for each operator (files gtfs_*.zip)
• The filtered GTFS for each operator (for a working day and some attribute adjustments for reproducibility, as documented in the paper) (files gtfs_*_filtered.zip)

The matching algorithm was executed on the Geofabrik export for europe/portugal for the 26th June, 2026, available at https://download.geofabrik.de/europe/portugal-260626.osm.pbf.

Results

The results of the shapes harmonization with OSM, carried out using GTFShift 0.10, are also available in the assets section of this release, namely:

• The OSM geometries for each shape (files shape_match_*.gpkg and shape_match_*.csv)
• The algorithm execution log (files shape_match_*.log)
