Streaming & Input
- Wacom tablets now stream over the video connection instead of USB/IP passthrough (lower latency, no driver dance).
- Click-on-detected-element now works the same way through the video stream as it already did on the hardware KVM (AI Vision /ui.parse).
- HDR color is now only offered when your client app can actually display it, instead of showing a toggle that silently did nothing.
- HDR moved from the paid tier to free.
- Linux screen capture rewritten to be reliable; typing and click handling on Linux hosts now work correctly.
- Fixed session-status detection silently going stale on long streaming sessions (this also fixed the Wi-Fi/AWDL suppression below sometimes not re-engaging).
- New: the benchmark tool's setup screen lets you pick the resolution to test at, instead of always using whatever was last
saved.
Wi-Fi reliability (macOS)
- The agent now actively keeps Apple's AWDL (Wi-Fi Direct) switched off for the whole duration of a stream, re-asserting it every second — fixes Wi-Fi stutter/dropouts during streaming that AWDL can cause.
- Clearer "Disable AWDL (recommended for Wi-Fi)" label in the tray menu.
Security
- Device HTTPS certificates are now unique per device, generated from a certificate request the agent signs itself — no more shared fleet-wide private key.
- Old shared wildcard certificates are discarded automatically so every device moves to the new per-device scheme.
- More resilient certificate issuance: proper handling of "pending" responses and automatic backoff when rate-limited.
USB Passthrough
- Status screen now correctly reports the USB/IP dongle and shows a "HW USB" badge when a real dongle is attached.
- Passthrough now shuts down cleanly (SIGTERM before kill) so the dongle detaches properly instead of getting stuck.
UI / UX
- Dialogs, benchmark results, and the hardware-agent screens got a visual refresh.
- Mobile keyboards, device cards, and the account dialog were polished; fixed a video-overlay flicker.
- Video settings dialog redesigned; unsaved toggle changes are now discarded correctly instead of silently sticking.
- Fixed flicker in the settings menu and on the Android "Connect" icon; account sync now polls every minute.
- macOS USB permission chip now correctly says "Info" vs "Grant" depending on state.
- iOS header hairlines are now visible on all screens.
- Screenshot / AI Vision capture is now instant instead of waiting on a fresh frame.
Platform / build
- Fixed a missing import that broke the Linux build.
- iOS build now targets iOS 16.0 minimum; added a standalone CI workflow to build and submit the iOS client independently of a full release.
