It looks like a few weeks passed between when #1514 was posted originally, and when upstream-ci failing was noticed (see #1580). Additionally, when #1580 was posted, people did not originally notice that a bot had already posted the relevant #1514.
Partly, this is because upstream-ci action updates its the original issue report, but that does not make the issue appear more recently, so it can get buried.
Two possible improvements:
- Pin issues like that?
- Have the bot update the title whenever it updates the message, maybe just include the date? So instead of just "🤖 Upstream testing failure", maybe it should be updated to something like "🤖 Upstream testing failure (2026-07-20)"? This might make it easier to notice that it isn't just an old issue, when scrolling through issues.
