PPT Viewer v1.0.0
First stable release
An offline PowerPoint deck viewer for Windows. Point it at a folder and it
finds every presentation inside, subfolders included.
Requires PowerPoint to be installed - it is used as the rendering engine,
which is what makes layouts, custom fonts, SmartArt and master slides render
exactly as PowerPoint would. No Office licence check, no sign-in, no network
access.
Downloads
| File | Use |
|---|---|
PPT.Viewer.Setup.1.0.0.exe |
Installs per-user (no admin prompt), adds a Start Menu entry. Recommended. |
PPT.Viewer.1.0.0.exe |
Single portable file, no install. Slightly slower to start. |
Highlights
- Instant reopen. Slides render once to a content-addressed cache keyed on
path, size and mtime. A fully cached deck reopens in ~10 ms with no PowerPoint
involvement. Editing a deck invalidates its own cache automatically. - Library browser. Recursive scan, search, sort, recents. Drag a folder in
to add it. - Presentation mode. Fullscreen with transitions, speaker notes overlay, and
pre-rendered upcoming slides so paging never stalls. - Zoom and pan. Wheel zooms at the cursor, drag to pan, double-click to
toggle. - PDF export through PowerPoint's own PDF engine.
- Cache the whole deck for completely offline reopening.
Supported formats

Not in v1
Embedded video and audio playback. Slides containing media render as PowerPoint
renders them, but the media itself does not play. Planned for a future version.
