Config.json

The mod's global settings. Located at config/DexRewards/config.json.

Note

If a setting is missing from your file, DexRewards adds it with its default value the next time the file loads. If the file can't be read (for example, a JSON syntax error), DexRewards logs an error and keeps using the last working version, or the defaults on a fresh start.

Fields

Field	Type	Default	Description
debug	boolean	false	Enabled debug logging.
default_dex_type	string	"national"	The dex type ID opened by /dex rewards with no argument, and used by placeholders that don't have a dex type to read from. See Placeholders.
implemented_only	boolean	true	Only count species that are implemented in Cobblemon. Turn this off if you add species through a datapack without marking them implemented.
allow_invalid_species	boolean	false	Count Pokédex entries whose species doesn't exist. This only matters for Pokédexes added by datapacks that list species which aren't installed.

implemented_only and allow_invalid_species apply to every dex type. Each dex type's own filters are in Your_Dex_Type.json.

Changes apply with /dex reload.
