PEARL 1.0.6 focuses primarily on improving the stability and reliability of the Preview/Multibox system.
The Preview window switching system was extensively audited after detecting cases where Windows foreground activation could stall for several seconds and temporarily interfere with normal mouse and keyboard input.
Global hotkeys have now been reworked around the Windows RegisterHotKey / WM_HOTKEY mechanism. Shared hotkeys, direct client switching and hotswap behavior were also revised so they continue working while actively playing inside an EVE client, without requiring PEARL or a Preview thumbnail to remain focused.
The old blocking BringWindowToTop activation path has been removed. Window activation now uses a safer foreground-switching path with short-lived thread attachment only when required.
Industrial Works
- Stock values now show the actual quantity available instead of only the amount required by the current production plan.
- Automatic recalculations no longer unnecessarily display the progress bar.
- The Industry progress bar layout was stabilized to prevent UI jumping.
Performance and stability
- Background location updates now perform more incremental UI refreshes.
- Preview polling and crop refresh were optimized.
- Background callback processing was bounded to reduce UI stalls.
- Additional regression tests were added for EVE clients, external windows, hotkeys, hotswap and Preview activation.
