Release list
v1.16.2
Another week, another update. Check out what’s new below:
Internationalization — We added language and currency support into the app! Now, our wallet will default to the language of your device (for some languages). In addition, you can select the default currency of your wallet in settings. Prices look good, in any currency.
Home screen UI — We streamlined the home screen to emphasize the core flows in the app. We added a shortcut for receiving transfers from friends (by scanning or copying your wallet address). In addition, we added your address in plain view — making it easier than ever to keep track of your wallet and assets.

v1.15
We’re back with another round of (slim) updates. Here is what's new:
- Bug fixes around tokens with a transfer fee
- Better delineation between view-only and owned wallets
- Bug fix in the “Buy” flow
- Bug fix with labeling blockchain explorers on L2’s
- Design fixes
- Performance improvements
v1.13
Back again with more updates! Here’s what is new in this version:
Buy and Sell Shortcuts — We added quick buy/sell buttons on token pages! Quickly load up a swap with your desired input or output tokens and get to swapping. In addition, long pressing on a token from your homepage or from search results will bring up buy and sell shortcuts.
Fee-on-Transfer Handling — We added support for Fee-on-Transfer (FoT) tokens. FoT tokens charge a fee whenever they are bought or sold; this fee is often directed back to the creator of the token or project. In the past, FoT tokens could induce a higher rate of failure on our app. Now, our app clearly shows the associated fee of the token and accounts for it in your swap. Swap any and all tokens with confidence!
Other Notable Changes:
- Styling and animation changes
- Performance improvements
- Improved error messaging
- Better spam handling
v1.12
Get ready for another slate of updates! The following are new in this version of the app:
BNB Support — We are live on BNB! You can now swap BNB tokens and connect to BNB dapps, all in the Uniswap Wallet. Enjoy the new chain!
Account Switcher Redesign — We overhauled our account switcher tab. It is now easier than ever to access wallet settings, copy wallet addresses, and receive funds from other friends! Also, long holding on a wallet brings up a new menu of quick actions. Manage your wallets with ease!
Swap Protection — We added in Swap Protection, which protects swaps from sandwich attacks and reduces failed transactions by sending them to a private RPC. By default, all swaps will be automatically broadcast through this RPC; if you want to disable this feature, simply turn it off in swap settings.
Other Notable Changes:
- Long press on address copies to clipboard
- Long press on token search results brings up shortcut menu
- NFT spam bug fixes
- Font updates
- Animation updates
- Truncation fixes
v1.11.2
Get ready, this is a big one! Here’s what’s new in this update:
iOS Widgets
This update adds the ability to create a widget for any token in your favorites list, so you can keep track of token prices right from your home screen. Just press and hold anywhere on your home screen, press the plus button in the top left, then search Uniswap!
New colors and fonts
The app also gets a fresh coat of paint in this update! We’ve updated all Uniswap interfaces to use a more refined color palette and a fresh new typeface.
Restore Wallet on a New Device
Bought a new phone and trying to trade? Our app now provides a step-by-step guide to restore your seed phrase on your new device.
Other Notable Fixes
- WC bug fixes
- Animation fixes and improvements
- Performance improvements
- Transaction history bug
- Error state bug fixes
- Improve L2 transaction history
v1.10
We’re (so) back with more updates. Here’s what you can expect in this update:
Rich Share URLs — This update makes it even easier to share web3 with your friends from the Uniswap Wallet. Simply press and hold on any token, wallet, NFT, or NFT collection, and you’ll see a new option to share it with your friends, family, or followers!
Remove Wallet & iCloud Improvement — Sometimes, a wallet just has to go. We added the option to completely remove your wallet and seed phrase from the device without having to delete your app. In addition, we smoothed out the iCloud backup flows!
Other Notable Changes:
- UX bug fixes
- UI improvements for wallets with many tokens
- NFT loading state bug fix
- Wallet Connect 2.0 bug fixes
- New animations
v1.9
Another week, another batch of updates. Check out the following:
Pull to refresh
Gone are the days of waiting for your balances to refresh— now, simply pull down on the home screen to get the most current data.
Data refresh after swaps
Speaking of data refreshing, with this update, token balances will refresh swiftly after on-chain actions to reflect the resulting changes in your portfolio much quicker.
Improved token selector
Selecting tokens just became a lot easier and snappier. We revamped the token selector, simplifying the flow to make swapping even more convenient.
Auto Slippage fixes
After some investigation, we identified the default minimum auto slippage setting as a common cause of failed transactions. We raised this value, and certain types of swaps should fail less often now.
Other changes:
- Better SVG handling for certain NFT types
- Walletconnect 2.0 bug fixes
- Various bugs and performance improvements
v1.8
We had a smoky week some time ago at the Uniswap Labs office in NYC, and we have some fire updates to the Uniswap Wallet.
Universal Router and Permit2
We updated the swap flow to use the Universal Router: a ERC20 and NFT swap router that allows users greater flexibility when performing trades across multiple token types. The Universal Router integrates with Permit2, to enable you to have more safety, flexibility, and control over their ERC20 token approvals. So now, when you tap swap, you’re approving the token with Permit2 and using the Universal Router.
Show/Hide Tokens
We added the ability to show or hide the tokens in your wallet. Long press on a token in your wallet to move tokens in and out of the hidden tokens section. Tokens you swap will be shown by default.
If you have any ideas at all for bug fixes, performance improvements, or anything else that would make the Uniswap Wallet your favorite app, we would love to hear them!

v1.7
Back again with another batch of improvements!
— NFT Handling. Spam NFTs are now viewable, but automatically sorted into a “hidden” section. Additionally, we fixed a display bug that affected some SVGs, including Uni V3 positions.
— WalletConnect Improvements. We fixed a bug that affected dapp connections from the wallet. Feel confident in your connections!
— Search Results Improvements. There was a bug where some token names were showing up as absurdly long. We fixed this issue; search results are formatted correctly, no matter the token.
