This required an engine PR that just got merged into trunk. (no backport for 2021.1 have been done)

Testing status
The issue doesn't happen anymore on the user dataset
Added a test to cover the issue.

Given the new test that has been added, data set and what has been tested and discussed with @anisunity, I don't think this needs further testing.

Green to merge if yamato tests are also green !
