The nomination process for the Food Tech Council (Food TC) has officially closed. Following our initial Nomination announcement, we have finalized the council's structure and composition in alignment with the approved Food DTC Charter and the updated Governance Changes. The newly appointed members have been added to the UCP maintainers file.

Welcome to the new members

We are excited to welcome Block (Square), DoorDash, Google, Toast, and Uber Eats as the inaugural members of the Food TC. We look forward to their collaboration and leadership in defining open standards and driving the technical roadmap for local food ordering and delivery capabilities.

We encourage all community members to contribute to the protocol, as active technical contribution will serve as primary criteria for future elections for Food TC.
