02. AutoBuyer

For all your Main Shop automatic buying necessities, this page will allow you to modify and reference your AutoBuyer+ settings. If you change any value in this interface, this will affect your AutoBuyer+ process when you navigate through Neopets Main Shops. Everyone's settings will differ from yours while latency is a huge factor in setting up your own purchase times, configure these settings accordingly.

Use AutoBuyer+ at your own risk, do not be greedy. Research legitimate times and adjust settings based on your ping. Lower the extension's times if you lose out on too many items, but use the tool responsibly.

Image

  • Shop Directory: If clicked, AutoBuyer+ will open a new tab to JellyNeo’s Shop Directory. In this page you will visualize the items, price, rarity, and among other information in a shop of your choosing.
  • Neopian Shop IDs: If clicked, AutoBuyer+ will open a new tab to a list of all shop names and ID numbers.
  • Main Shop Autobuyer Enabled: If enabled, this option will activate AutoBuyer+ on Neopets’ Main Shops.

Stock Management

  • Use Item Database Value Estimates: Use this option to toggle between Database or Restock List usage. If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will use the Database features while keeping track of 3 variables while restocking on Main Shops: Value, Price, and Profit.
  • Value: Value is the item's market value without the stocking Price subtraction.
  • Price: Price is the item's stocking price, what you pay to buy the item.
  • Profit: Profit is the result of the Value minus the stocking Price.
  • Minimum Profit to Click Item: AutoBuyer+ will only buy an item if its Profit margin surpasses the amount inputted in this field. This setting only applies while using the item database.
  • Estimated Profit of Items not in Item DB: AutoBuyer+ will assume the default profit amount inputted in this field for unpriced or missing items from the database. This feature can come in handy for new, unlisted items. This setting only applies while using the item database.
  • Use a Blacklist of Items to not Purchase: AutoBuyer+ will not purchase Blacklisted items, even if the item is deemed profitable by AutoBuyer+’s Database. This feature is useful for countering inaccurate or outdated price estimates in the item database. This setting only applies while using the item database.
  • Blacklist: A list of banned items to not purchase. Enter one item per line, its order is not important. This setting only applies while using the item database.

If you do not want to use AutoBuyer+’s Database features, AutoBuyer+ will only target items based on a restock list manually generated by the user.

  • AutoBuyer Restock List: This “Restocking List“ outlines the items and their purchase priority for potential stock from Neopia’s Main Shops. The restocking list must be ordered from most profitable to least profitable, check the “List Generator” tool for an automatic solution for list generation. You can group by store for a more organized list as shown in the picture. Restocking lists ought to be updated manually over time as prices of items are frequently changing. Please refer to the Restock List Generator interface for more information.

Shop Configuration

Starting from AutoBuyer version 0.8v onwards, AutoBuyer+ indexes shop configurations separately, allowing you to micro-manage every aspect of the extension. For example, for competitive shops you can have lower times than usual compared to regular shops.

  • +New: Adds a new shop preset to configure based on the “Default Settings” preset.
  • ⮟ All: Clicking this will expand all shop settings.
  • ⮝ All: Clicking this will minimize all shop settings.

Default Settings

These settings will affect all shops without a setting preset of their own. If you created a preset for “Neopian Foods”, this shop would not be affected by the “Default Settings”. However, if you were to navigate to a shop different from “Neopian Foods”, AutoBuyer+ will employ the “Default Settings” for that shop.

  • Refresh Shops Only When Unstocked: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will only refresh a shop if it has not been stocked yet.
    • After buying all the profitable items in one stock, AutoBuyer+ will halt until the next time the shop does not have stock.
    • AutoBuyer+ will not continuously refresh or navigate to other shops; the process will stop.
    • This option does not detect Shop Clears.
  • Minimum Stocked Refresh: The minimum time between refreshes when a main shop has stock.
  • Maximum Stocked Refresh: The maximum time between refreshes when a main shop has stock.
  • Minimum Unstocked Refresh: The minimum time between refreshes when a main shop is empty.
  • Maximum Unstocked Refresh: The maximum time between refreshes when a main shop is empty.
  • Minimum Items for Store to be Considered Stocked: The minimum amount of items stocked in a shop for AutoBuyer+ to consider it “Stocked”. If unstocked, AutoBuyer+ will continue to the next shop in your list.

Settings Presets

  • Toggle: Enable and disable shop settings. If disabled, these specific settings will be ignored and AutoBuyer+ will fallback to the “Default Settings” when navigating the shop disabled.
  • X: Remove a respective row of settings from your Shops to Visit.
  • ⮟: Expands a respective row of settings.
  • ⮝: Minimizes a respective row of settings.
  • Store to Cycle: The shop designated to cycle through if the “Stay in Shop” option is disabled.
  • Stay in Shop: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will not cycle through this shop, instead it will allow the user to navigate to this shop manually. After that, AutoBuyer+ will only refresh this shop and not cycle to another shop.
    • For example: If you have 4 shops: Magic, Stamps, Foods, and Toy, and Magic has “Stay in Shop” enabled, AutoBuyer+ will only cycle through Stamps, Foods, and Toy; ignoring Magic but allowing the user to open a separate tab for Magic for AutoBuying.
    • You can have 2 tabs open, one to cycle through multiple shops and one for a dedicated shop. This may get you a Restock Ban earlier than usual.
  • Go for 2nd Best Item: Forces AutoBuyer+ to buy the second most profitable item in stock, better suited for slower connections. If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will still buy the sole worthwhile item if only one is available for purchase.

Auto-Click

  • Auto-Click Items in Main Shops: AutoBuyer+ will automatically click items in shop stocks if said items are deemed profitable.
  • Minimum Click Item Image: The minimum clicking speed in milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to click on a desired item in a Main Shop's stock.
  • Maximum Click Item Image: The maximum clicking speed in milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to click on a desired item in a Main Shop's stock.
  • Auto-Click Confirm Window: Enables AutoBuyer+ to automatically click the “Confirm” prompt’s “Yes” button while AutoBuying.
  • Bypass Confirm Window: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will bypass the “Confirm” pop-up on Main Shops, redirecting the user straight to the haggling page while also disabling the “Click Confirm” options.
  • Minimum Click Confirm Purchase: Specifies the minimum clicking speed in milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to click the 'Yes' button in the 'Are you sure' purchase confirm window after clicking a desired item to purchase.
  • Maximum Click Confirm Purchase: Specifies the maximum clicking speed in milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to click the 'Yes' button in the 'Are you sure' purchase confirm window after clicking a desired item to purchase.
  • Move Haggling Processes to New Tabs: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will prompt a new tab in the haggle page for a desired item, this new tab will close after the haggling process finishes. You cannot interact with the browser while this option is enabled but you will see a substantial increase in haggling speeds.

Captcha Handling

  • Auto-Enter Offer: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will input an offer for the desired item following human behavior for intelligent haggling patterns by default.
  • Simple Haggle Algorithm: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ input the asking price as your offer when haggling, speeding up the haggling times while increasing the risk of being frozen over time.
  • Use Custom Multipliers for Haggle Generation: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will reveal toggles in the GUI for custom haggling multipliers for haggle generation.
    • Keep in mind that the haggle generation formula is very complex, modifying the default multipliers can generate unexpected haggles. Do not change these variables unless you know what you are doing.
    • Formula: Output Haggle = Rounded(Asking Price + (Asking Price^Z)). Where Z is equal to a random number between X & Y (Exclusive).
  • Minimum Haggle Power: The minimum number to power the Asking Price to, in decimals.
  • Maximum Haggle Power: The maximum number to power the Asking Price to, in decimals.
  • Auto-Click Captcha: Based on the “Total Time on Haggling Page” times, AutoBuyer+ will wait before inputting the offering price and solving the captcha
  • Minimum Total Time on Haggling Page: The minimum time, in milliseconds, spent on the haggling page, including entering an offer, detecting the captcha, and clicking. Lower is faster.
  • Maximum Total Time on Haggling Page: The maximum time, in milliseconds, spent on the haggling page, including entering an offer, detecting the captcha, and clicking. Lower is faster.
  • Bypass Pet Lag: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will deploy anti-pet lag features on the haggle page if detected.
  • Multi-Click Captcha Pet: If enabled, the AutoBuyer will send multiple clicks on the haggling captcha page to speed up processing.
  • Minimum Time to Retry Captcha After Click: The minimum amount of milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to determine a “Pet Lag” after clicking the captcha.
  • Maximum Time to Retry Captcha After Click: The maximum amount of milliseconds for AutoBuyer+ to determine a “Pet Lag” after clicking the captcha.
  • Annotate Captcha with Pet's Location: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will mark the captcha’s pet position with a red dot.

Visual & Alerts

  • Show Status Banner: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will display a banner that allows users to visualize AutoBuying activities.
  • Highlight Desired Shop Items: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will highlight the most profitable item in stock in orange while other items of interest in green.
  • Refresh Through Page Load Failures: If enabled, when Neopets' pages fail to load the extension will refresh the page automatically.
  • Minimum Refresh Time Per Page Error: The minimum time in milliseconds between refreshes when an error appears on a page.
  • Maximum Refresh Time Per Page Error: The maximum time in milliseconds between refreshes when an error appears on a page.
  • Show Chrome Notifications: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will send notifications when important events occur.
  • Change Page Information: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will change the titles on pages and tabs to reflect the status of AutoBuyer+.
  • Sound Alerts: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will provide audible notifications during page actions using Chrome’s built-in TTS.
  • Screenshot Successful Purchases: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will take a screenshot of your purchase and save it to your browser’s designated downloads folder.
  • Display Buying Speed After Purchase: If enabled, AutoBuyer+ will display the Restock Timer speeds measuring your AutoBuying settings.
