Important update 5/5/2024

As of application version 8.1 Unifi now supports mongodb <= 7.0. v8.1.127 of the docker application in this repository has been refactored to utilize Ubuntu 22.04. However, Ubuntu > 20.04 no longer includes mongodb in the default repositories so the docker-build.sh file has been updated to include adding and installing mongodb CE directly from their official repository.

Breaking changes coming from mongodb 3.6

If the container being run is an attempted "upgrade" from v8.1.113 using Ubuntu 20.04 and mongodb 3.6 the application will fail to start. Since the mongodb version jump is considerable (3.6 to 7.0) a brand new instance of the controller is required starting from scratch. Backup the configuration of the controller, delete the persistent volume/persistent volume claim, recreate the resources then reimport the controller configuration.
