Coffice 1.0.0-rc.2 — a little company

A little company for your Codex agents

Coffice is now a Windows desktop companion. Download the .exe, double-click
it, and the office opens. No terminal, Node installation, or separate server
is needed for the packaged app.

• A warm top-down office with real local Codex tasks at their own desks.
• A clearly labelled demo office, daylight and evening, coffee breaks, and a
  pettable office cat.
• A lightweight read-only status feed with explicit stale and unavailable
  states. Current Codex item lifecycle events are supported.
• The earlier planning and review tools remain available in Workbench.

This is an experimental Windows x64 release candidate. It is unsigned;
Windows may display a trust warning. macOS and Linux desktop builds are not
included. Coffice observes local metadata and does not restart Codex or read
its conversations or credentials. Scene interactions do not control real work.

The app uses 127.0.0.1:3003. Close a separately running Coffice web server
before opening the desktop app. If that port is occupied, Coffice shows an error
and leaves the existing process alone.

The source is published as a clean product snapshot. Private development
history, local workspaces, and real task data are not part of this repository
or the download. See the README for the code and artwork licenses.
