Cart Launch Companion 2.8.0

Version 2.8.0 introduces the redesigned game-details dashboard and a unified activity system for native, storefront, and emulated games.

Highlights

  • New responsive metadata dashboard with modular library, platform, last-played, playtime, and achievement information
  • Local playtime tracking for every supported launch method
  • Steam activity import when available
  • Public Exophase support for cross-platform playtime, last-played, totals, and individual achievements
  • RetroAchievements support for emulated games
  • Grouped platform versions with a chooser shown only when a title has multiple configured versions
  • Improved platform labeling, optional-module behavior, page transitions, and Steam Controller input stability
  • Corrected RetroAchievements badge loading on Linux and SteamOS
  • Collection shelf placement now lives entirely in Config/collection.json
  • Updated Game Configurator workflow and refreshed screenshots
