macOS fixes:
- Whole-screen and region recordings on Retina (ZK-295). A whole-screen recording filled only the top-left quarter of the frame, and a region recording was shifted or doubled in size. The cause was the overlay's choice: frame pixels were passed as desktop points, so the stream asked for an area twice the display. The red frame now sits right around a region picked in the overlay as well.
- «Record this window» after Znimok has been idle (ZK-296). The browser's host now connects again when its kept connection has died, so the extension no longer says «Znimok not found».
- Checking for updates after sleep (ZK-297). A check always finishes now, with one flow for all windows. If 0.0.21 hangs on «Checking…» while updating, quit with Cmd+Q, start Znimok again and press «Check now». This should be the last time.

Slack: files reach the channel again. In 0.0.19 and 0.0.20 the upload finished but nothing appeared in the channel. Znimok now completes the upload the way Slack's own libraries do.
The «Share» window shows what you picked. A «Chosen: …» line above the list keeps the chosen place in sight, and its ✕ clears the choice.

macOS fixes (seen on macOS 27):
- The recording frame and bar. On Retina screens the red frame came out half size in a corner, and the bar landed halfway up the screen. Both now sit where they belong.
- Whole-screen recordings and screenshots. On macOS 27 they could come out with the picture filling only the top-left quarter of the frame. Znimok now asks for the full resolution, scaled to the frame.
- «Record this window» from the browser extension. On macOS it said «Could not find this browser window». Chrome updates the window title a moment later there, so Znimok now waits for it, and if needed finds the window by its position and size.

Slack: «Where exactly» now lists direct messages and group chats, along with channels. The «Share» window shows every place, and the list scrolls. To get the new permissions, sign out of Slack in Settings → Extensions and integrations, then «Sign in to Slack» again.

Fix: Slack sign-in. In 0.0.17, «Sign in to Slack» failed when the token was refreshed (bad_client_secret). The refresh now passes the app's secret.

Sharing (still marked experimental):
- Several accounts of a service. You can add more than one Slack workspace, Jira site, Telegram bot or Redmine. Each one is a target of its own in «Share».
- Sign in instead of tokens. «Sign in to Slack» and «Sign in to Atlassian» replace pasting API tokens.
- Gmail. The file goes to your Drive, and Gmail opens a new letter with the link.
Agents (MCP, now 25 tools):
- Agents can send through your connected services (
share_targets,share). - Agents can edit a recording through
transform: cut stretches out or bring them back, trim the start and end, mute sound tracks, and set the size on export. Marks can get the times when they show. The recording file itself is never rewritten; an export applies the edits. - A new
settingstool changes a short white list of settings: recording fps and quality, the DevTools log and the keys it hides, name prefixes, and sound. Turning sound on asks for its own permission. - A recording's frames are now resources:
znimok://library/<id>/frame/<n>. - Reinstall
znimok-….mcpbin Claude Desktop to get these.
Fixes and diagnostics:
- On Windows, if GPU playback breaks in the middle of a video, the player now goes on through CPU memory instead of stopping silently.
- The log records the GPU in use, the recording and export encoder, and how video is played. About shows a «Graphics» line, which «Copy» includes for bug reports.
- The first-run guide has one button, «Done».
