First release with the over-the-air GitHub update button.

Updating an already-running device

Open the device web UI → Diagnostics → Update Firmware (GitHub). It downloads this release, flashes itself, and reboots — no computer needed (needs an internet connection).

First flash of a new board (USB)

Flash Glasscalibur.factory.bin over USB at web.esphome.io (Chrome/Edge). After that, all updates can be OTA.

Assets

  • Glasscalibur.ota.bin — OTA image (what the update button downloads)
  • Glasscalibur.ota.bin.md5 — checksum the OTA flash verifies against
  • Glasscalibur.factory.bin — full image for the first USB flash
