Hey, that's a great suggestion, and thanks for adding a second Ropener! I just built it: a new Swap Buttons setting. On the Ropener's web page (or in Home Assistant), under Setup, you'll see Swap Buttons with two options: Normal — the shipped default So for your left-side window, just flip it to Swapped if the buttons feel backwards. One related tip: you'll probably also want Motor Direction → Reversed (also under Setup) so "open" actually drives the curtain open on that side — that setting controls the motor, while Swap Buttons just reassigns the physical buttons. The firmware has also been pushed to v2.9.0. Open your config page and press the Update Firmware (GitHub) button. When it's done, check that it's on v2.9.0 and let me know how it goes. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I just finished installing my second Ropener on another window which already has a pull-rope, but this window has the rope on the left side instead of the right.
Having the option to reverse the button functions so I can set the far button as "open" and close button as "close" would be desirable.
