Config moves out of main.py, uploads wait until the file is finished writing, and the watcher no longer trips over screenshot/recording save bursts.

Breaking

  • Python 3.10+ is required.
  • Folder, Zipline URL, and token now come from a .env file, not the top of main.py. Copy .env.example to .env and fill it in. Empty or placeholder tokens refuse to start.

Uploads

  • Waits until file size is stable before uploading
  • created + modified for the same path collapse to one upload.
  • Extensions are case-insensitive (.PNG works). Nested folders are not watched.
  • Uploads run on a worker thread so a slow POST does not stall the folder watcher.
  • HTTP timeout scales with file size (a 40MB video is no longer killed at 10s).
  • Retries timeouts / disconnects / 429 / 5xx. 401/403 are treated as a bad token.
  • Upload JSON is parsed defensively (files[0].url).
  • Clipboard copy failures are logged; the URL is still printed. Unknown types use application/octet-stream.

Ops

  • Timestamped logging (LOG_LEVEL, optional LOG_FILE). Color in the terminal.

Packaging / CI

  • pyproject.toml (v1.2.16) with dependencies.
  • CI on PRs/push: install, ruff, smoke-import on Python 3.10 and 3.14.
  • actions/stale v8 → v11.
