Arch linux proton games dont run at all with nvidia drivers

Issue

• Windows games running under proton run fine until i install nvidia drivers

System Information

• GPU: GTX 1050 (mobile)
• Driver/LLVM version: nvidia-470.74-8
• Kernel version: linux-lts-5.10.74-1

• Proton version: Proton 6.3-7 I have also tried 5.13-6 and Proton-6.19-GE-2

Symptoms

Whenever I run any proton game with nvidia drivers installed the play button changed to stop but nothing happens. Removing the nvidia driver it actually opens the games

having nvidia and nvidia-lts at the same time must conflict? removing nvidia-lts fixes the problem
