- SteamOS version: 3.7.25
- Opted into Steam client beta?: [Yes/No] no
- Opted into SteamOS beta?: [Yes/No] no
- Have you checked for updates in Settings > System?: [Yes/No] yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
- tilts/looks down always if I move the device too fast
- feels weird, like not stuttering, but the way it outputs mouse in the games (helldivers 2, deep rock galactic rogue core, prey) feels weird and inconsistent
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- launch any first person game, like helldivers 2, deep rock galactic rogue core, prey
- try to set up gyro in steam controllers menu, like gyro to mouse or gyro to aim like in prey (prey has predetermined steam input names)
- whatever settings are, it just doesn't work reliably, see the description of the issue. if video is needed, I can try to record the device itself and how it behaves.
Only proper issue I've seen anywhere acknowledging smth like this is ShadowBlip/InputPlumber#427, but I'm not a dev and I haven't tried 3.8 branch, for example and if there are fixes that I can test in it, I'm open to try.
I've tried resetting controllers through pins and messing with gyro output settings, no luck.
