As my previous bug report was closed straight away without solving the issue I've re-opened this bug as a new bug since this #9609 was closed. I've tried the steam client with the deb version on the official site and the one in Ubuntu's repository and does the same as the snap version. Also it seems to be related to #9608 as this user is having network problems on Arch since the same last update.....
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Launch Steam (deb version)
- Stuck on Waiting for Network
