What's New

This release focuses on bug fixes and Linux/WSL compatibility improvements based on testing feedback from v0.0.1.dev1.

Bug Fixes

Linux/WSL Compatibility

• Fixed path validation for Linux absolute paths in transaction journal
• Added support for paths starting with / and WSL mount points (/mnt/c/...)
• Updated component validation regex to allow . and ~ characters

BFT Consensus (Critical Fix)

• Fixed nonce not being passed during message reconstruction
• This caused signature verification to fail in ZMQ-based consensus
• ZMQ consensus demo now reaches supermajority correctly

Event Validation

• Fixed missing entity_id field in system events (genesis, registration, proof submission)
• Events were being incorrectly rejected by OrderingService validation

API Compatibility

• Added create_private_data_collection() alias method to HierarchyManager
• Added complete_operation() method to HierarchyManager

Demo & Scripts

• Fixed demo.py - corrected parameter type for update_entity_status()
• Improved sarif_analysis.py with proper error handling

Documentation

• Updated DEV_GUIDE.md with correct demo file references
• Added demo_zmq_consensus.py documentation
• Added Developer Scripts section
