@vanfiura vanfiura released this 05 Oct 23:15

Media Verdict 0.3.1 — initial public release.

Fixed

  • Admin (AJAX) scans lost all evidence between requests and marked everything as unused. Evidence is now persisted per batch, so admin scans produce the same verdicts as CLI scans.

Highlights

  • Fail-safe media usage detection: green/red frames in the Media Library with per-image evidence.
  • 16 dedicated parsers: 8 sliders (Smart Slider 3, Revolution Slider, LayerSlider, Master Slider…) and 8 builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Visual Composer, Cornerstone, Oxygen, Divi, Beaver Builder, Depicter).
  • Snapshot-first cleanup: every trash operation snapshots originals + all sizes with md5 manifest; one-click restore.
  • Proven at scale: 6,070 attachments / 8.1 GB scanned in 33 seconds.
  • WP-CLI: wp media-verdict scan|list|snapshot|trash|restore|report.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 8.0+. License: GPL-2.0-or-later.
