What's Changed

  • start() now acquires the microphone before creating the web call. If microphone access is denied, unavailable, or the prompt is still pending when stop() is called, no call is created. The SDK emits call-start-failed (stage microphone-preflight) and an error of type microphone-preflight-<DOMException name>. The acquired track is reused as Daily's audioSource. Opt out with vapi.start(..., { microphonePreflightEnabled: false }) (6th argument). (#189)
  • @daily-co/daily-js upgraded from 0.93.0 to 0.94.0. The API client was regenerated. (#190)
