Auction Coach 0.5.0: Today's Plan

Got 15 minutes? Here's your plan. The new Today tab turns Auction Coach's advice into a short to-do list for the time you have.

• Pick your time: 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
• Ranked by gold per minute: what to post, which undercut listings to repost, which deals to buy and what to sell to a vendor.
• Realistic gold: each step shows what should actually come in, based on how fast the item sells and how often you check the AH, after the 5% cut.
• Leave alone today: items with crashed prices, or ones that get undercut faster than you check back, are listed separately so you don't waste time on them.
• Click to start: at the Auction House, click a step to put the item in the sell box or open its listings. You still do all the clicking to post and buy.
• Tick it off: mark steps done as you go. Ticks clear after the next full scan.
• Alts too: the plan tells you how much is waiting on your other characters and in your warband bank.

Open it with /ac plan or the Today tab, and set your usual time in the options.

Also new on the website: My report now saves your reports in your browser, so you can come back to them, see your worth over time and refresh old ones with today's prices.

Tip: the gold estimates are much sharper with the free desktop app's hourly prices and sales data.

Auction Coach 0.4.0

The first public release of Auction Coach, a plain-English Auction House coach for World of Warcraft (Retail). It tells you what your stuff is worth, what to sell and what price to post at. It advises and never automates: you do all the buying and posting yourself.

Install

• CurseForge or Wago app: search for Auction Coach and click Install.
• By hand: download AuctionCoach-0.4.0.zip below and unzip it into World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns. You should end up with AddOns\AuctionCoach\AuctionCoach.toc.

Then log in, open the Auction House once and the advice starts. /ac opens the window, /ac help lists every command.

Optional: the free desktop app adds hourly prices, 14-day averages and sales estimates for EU and US realms. Step-by-step setup is in the README.

What's in it

• Tooltips: what an item is worth, how many you have across your characters, if a vendor pays more and how hard the competition is.
• My Stuff tab: the AH value of everything sellable on all your characters and your warband bank.
• Sell tab: a suggested price for everything in your bags, and whether to post, hold or vendor it.
• Post helper: a suggested price in the AH sell box, with the chance it sells in time.
• Deals tab: items listed well below their usual lowest price, with your profit after the AH cut.
• Undercut timing: learns how fast each item gets undercut, so you know when to check back.
• Seller styles: casual, active or camper. Advice adapts to how often you check the AH.
• Sale messages: a chat line with what each sale made after the AH cut.
• Vendor and delete protection: warns before you sell or delete something valuable, and offers to buy it back.
• Old price warning: tells you at login when the desktop app's prices have gone stale.
• Options page, minimap button and a public price API (AuctionCoachAPI) for other addons.

Auction Coach desktop app 0.5.0

The free Windows companion for the Auction Coach addon. It runs in the
tray and downloads fresh Auction House prices every hour, with 14-day
averages, usual prices and sales estimates for your realm (EU and US).
The addon works without it; the app adds deals, sell chances and
"usually sells for" advice.

Install: download AuctionCoachSetup-0.5.0.exe below and run it. It
installs for your Windows user only (no admin prompt). Windows may say
it protected your PC because the installer is not code signed yet:
choose More info, then Run anyway. Step-by-step setup is in the README.

What it sends: nothing about you by default. It downloads prices for
the realms you pick. Sharing your own posts to improve advice is off
unless you turn it on, and never includes character names or gold.
