Release v0.3.4 - Suspicious frames are detectable, New features included in the control panel.

Key Updates

  • Suspicious Frames Detection : The system now detects and flags suspicious frames based on irregularities, such as:
  • Sudden drop in frame bytes or payload counts
  • Decrease in PTS
  • Decrease in SCR-STC

New Features

  1. Streaming Start/Pause Button : Added for better streaming control.
  2. Selective Image Capture : Users can now choose to save frames categorized as Valid, Error, or Suspicious.
  3. Enhanced Window Formats : All windows are updated with a new format including:
  • [Frame Number]
  • [Received Time]
  • And more.
  1. FID Toggle Bit Error Tracking : FID toggle bit errors are now counted as frame errors.

Bug Fixes

  • Error Accumulation Prevention : FPS and throughput metrics now calculate exact frame counts over a 1-second interval.
  • Audio and Video Data Filtering : Resolved issues in filtering audio and video data through the endpoint, ensuring accurate and consistent processing.

Developer Notes

  • The executable file is now renamed to uvcfd.exe.
  • Shell scripts have been updated accordingly.
