Agent Auto-Continue 2.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Oct 06:36

The first public release of Agent Auto-Continue, a macOS menu-bar app that sends "Continue" (or any message you choose) to a coding agent conversation at a chosen time, or as soon as its usage limit resets.

Install

  1. Download Agent-Auto-Continue.dmg.
  2. Open it and drag Agent Auto-Continue into Applications.
  3. Open it from Applications. macOS asks once whether to open an app downloaded from the Internet; choose Open.

If you open it straight from the disk image or Downloads, it offers to move itself into Applications.
It is a universal app for Apple Silicon and Intel, needs macOS 13 Ventura or later, and is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
From now on it updates itself in the background and installs the update when you restart it or next quit, never in the middle of scheduled work.

What it does

  • Works with T3 Code, OpenCode, Claude Code CLI, Codex CLI, Claude Desktop Code and the ChatGPT app's Codex, each through its own local interface.
  • Schedules a message with quick picks (+5 min, +30 min, +1 hour, tomorrow), a custom time, or "when free" for agents that report usage limits.
  • Can keep going for a set number of turns, or until you stop it.
  • Re-checks the conversation before sending and never double-sends: an interrupted send is marked unconfirmed, not retried.
  • Keeps its queue through quitting, restarts and sleep, and can keep the Mac awake while work is waiting.
  • Optional token-protected REST API and MCP server for control from a phone or another agent.

See the README for requirements and setup per agent.
