CryptoNotch v1.1.2 — Permissionless Global Hotkey & Shortcut Ergonomics

This release brings an upgraded global hotkey architecture that works out of the box without requiring macOS Accessibility permissions, plus a refined one-handed shortcut.

Highlights

  • ⚡️ Permissionless Global Hotkey: Replaced legacy event monitors with native Carbon RegisterEventHotKey. The hotkey now responds instantly system-wide without needing elevated macOS Accessibility permissions.
  • 🖐️ Optimized Shortcut (⌥⇧C): Switched default shortcut to Option + Shift + C (⌥⇧C) for effortless one-handed ergonomics on the left hand, avoiding conflicts with window tiling managers (Magnet/Rectangle).
  • 🏷️ Menu Bar Badge: Visual ⌥⇧C badge integrated directly into the companion menu bar item.
  • 🔏 Apple Notarized & Signed: Signed with Developer ID, notarized via Apple Notary Service, and stapled.
  • 🔑 Sparkle 2 Auto-Update: Feed updated with EdDSA signatures for seamless in-app updates.
  • 🍺 Homebrew Cask: Updated in verzional/tap/cryptonotch.

Installation
