The current public-beta build of MIRA — a self-hostable, single-binary personal AI agent that runs on hardware you control. A project of Vexillon. Licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later.

⚠️ Public beta (pre-release). Recommended build for new installs; supersedes v0.301.0.

A universal duty-of-care safety floor

MIRA now carries a short, non-overridable safety instruction on every user-facing turn — not just companion conversations. It never describes methods of self-harm, and it treats mentions of self-harm or acute physical symptoms seriously, with warmth and a pointer to a crisis line.

This closes a gap where chats using a personalized profile previously carried none of this. The instruction is the final word in the system prompt, so no persona, tone setting, or profile can silence it.

Or download the archive below, extract the mira binary onto your PATH, and run mira setup. The web UI is bundled into the binary.
