What's new

  • Aider support: Aider (aider.chat) is now available in the hook setup step — DevPing patches ~/.aider.conf.yml automatically
  • Editor auto-detection info: Onboarding now shows two sections in step 3:
    • AI AGENTS — Claude Code, OpenCode, Aider (installs hooks)
    • EDITORS — shows green pill badges for Cursor, VS Code, Zed, Windsurf, Ghostty, iTerm2, etc. that are detected on the machine, with an explanation that these are already supported automatically — no configuration needed
  • Notifications will show the correct editor name and icon regardless of which one fired the hook
