v1.9.0 — MCP server
Features
- MCP server. AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor can now view and manage your workspace over MCP at
/api/mcp. Tools cover projects, tasks, clients, notes, updates and workspace info, and act with the connecting user's role. (#72) - Two ways to connect. Sign in from the assistant and approve on a consent page, or create an API key under Settings → API & MCP. Signed-in connections are listed under Connected apps, where you can disconnect them. Keys and connections are tied to one workspace membership.
Upgrading
- The schema adds tables for API keys and OAuth. The container applies them on start.
- Signing in from an assistant needs a public HTTPS address. For local or LAN installs, use an API key.
- To turn off sign-in connections, set
MCP_OAUTH_ENABLED="false". API keys still work.
See MCP docs and security notes.
