Highlights

  • Closing the window now keeps DeepSeek Harness running in the system tray.
  • The localized tray menu can reopen the window, restart Harness, open the log folder, or quit the application completely.
  • A second launch restores the existing window instead of starting another Harness process.
  • Background Harness updates remain silent: a verified update is staged while the app is running and becomes active after the next restart.

Verification

  • All 37 automated tests passed.
  • Windows, Ubuntu, macOS Intel, and macOS Apple Silicon packages were built on native GitHub-hosted runners.
  • Every packaged application was verified by launching its bundled DeepSeek Harness runtime and receiving a successful response from the real local web server.
  • The stable runtime channel was rebuilt for all four platforms with DeepSeek Harness 0.1.0-rc.6.

Installation note

These builds are not yet code-signed. Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper may display an unknown-publisher warning.
