Wisp 2.6

Download Wisp 2.6 for Windows — 98.1 MiB

Run this installer to install or update Wisp. The library-source archives and checksum files are optional downloads for source access and verification.

Save a clip of your drive, keep a copy of your tune, and review where a lap gained or lost time.

Clips

Enable clipping to keep a rolling recording, then press Save clip or your shortcut to keep the moment. Watch it in Wisp before exporting an MP4 with the filename and location you choose.

  • Choose a clip length from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, in 30-second steps. Saves keep up to the available history. The default is one minute.
  • Record at 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p, at 30 or 60 fps. The default is 1080p60.
  • Adjust quality from 10 to 100, or choose lossless video with a supported NVIDIA encoder. Lossless preserves the prepared full-color SDR video; recordings can be large, and available history depends on storage and the scene.
  • Record Forza audio by default, or include other apps and system sounds.
  • Set separate shortcuts for toggling clipping and saving a clip, with optional sound feedback.
  • Browse thumbnails, watch and seek through clips, and keep track of new, viewed and exported clips. Playback starts when you press Play.
  • Choose a default export folder and enable dashboard reminders for new clips. Export keeps the recorded resolution and quality.

Clipping records the display containing fullscreen Forza, including the Wisp HUD and anything else visible on that screen. Switching away pauses recording and keeps available footage ready to save. Ultrawide and 16:10 recordings keep their proportions with black bars. Five-minute clips and higher recording settings use more storage and take longer to save.

With clipping off, recover unfinished saves or dismiss their notice while keeping retained files.

Tune

View the tuning settings fitted to your current car, including locked tunes on Steam. Save a named setup with a description, open it later in Wisp, or compare saved setups or the current car side by side. Delete saved tunes you no longer need; snapshots attached to runs are kept.

The Tune menu covers tires, gearing, alignment, antiroll bars, springs, damping, aero, brakes and differential settings. Comparisons highlight the values that changed. Attach a checked tune snapshot when recording a run to keep its setup with the results.

Current-car reading supports Steam and Xbox app / Microsoft Store FH6 with imperial game units. Saved setups can be viewed with the game closed. Wisp checks for updated Forza support automatically. If an optional tune check fails before a run, the run still records without that attachment.

Lap review

Open a recorded lap in Runs to see the line you drove and inspect its telemetry. Move one cursor across the map and graphs, choose a section, and compare it with another lap or a pinned benchmark.

Review speed, throttle, braking, steering, G-force, RPM, gear, tire temperatures, slip and suspension travel. Section statistics include entry, minimum and exit speed, time, distance and driving inputs. Events mark braking, throttle pickup and shifts. Enable Save completed laps automatically to keep completed laps for review.

Automatic laps are grouped by day and car, with precise times in new names. Choosing Run B takes priority over a compatible pinned benchmark.

Live map and lap delta

The live track map and lap delta remain available as beta HUD options. Follow your position around a learned circuit and compare your progress with your session best or previous lap. Choose Race / Rivals timing, or Time Attack at Legend Island, Hokubu, Soni and Sekibe. Adjust their colors, size and position in Appearance.

Profiles and guidance

  • HUD profiles include gauge positions and HUD and driving settings.
  • First-time gauge placement follows the Forza screen; gauges can still be dragged to another monitor.
  • Shift calibration keeps a steady status message and saves measured higher-gear targets without requiring first-gear coverage.
  • The updated feature tour introduces Clips, Tune, live map, lap delta and lap review.
