v2.0.0 — Major Parsing Upgrade 🚀

This release overhauls parsing with multiple strategies, stronger validation, and better handling of messy inputs.

  • Multi-strategy parsing
    • Labeled parsing
    • Single-line parsing
    • Heuristic fallback
  • Heuristic extraction for messy / unstructured input
  • Year-first expiry support (YYYY/MM)
  • Expanded card network detection to 20 networks

🔄 Changed

  • Input normalization for uncommon delimiters
  • Labeled parsing now filters card candidates with Luhn
  • CVV length validation at parse time (must be 3 or 4 digits)

🛠 Fixed

  • Detection of merged expiry + CVV digit blobs
  • Date normalization for ambiguous month/year inputs

⚠️ Upgrade Notes (Breaking Change)

  • Inputs with invalid CVV lengths that previously parsed will now raise InvalidCVVError.
