Fixes

  • Controller buttons on Windows. Windows launches through SteamVR never told the runtime where its controller bindings were, so SteamVR fell back to legacy input and games saw controller positions but no button presses. Buttons, sticks and triggers now reach the game.

  • Asgard's Wrath now launches and gets past sign-in:

    • Unreal games recorded with their bootstrapper (WrathGame.exe) now launch the real shipping binary with -vr. The bootstrapper started a second process that RiftLift couldn't reach, and the game crashed at startup. Existing library entries are repaired automatically.
    • The platform compatibility layer now gives games a stable user ID that Unreal accepts. The old placeholder ID was too small, so Unreal's Oculus sign-in rejected it and the entitlement check failed.

Tested on SteamVR's null headset with simulated Touch controllers: calibration, the menus and the first level all work, with no flicker in the frames sampled. Physical headsets are not yet verified.

Improvements

  • Multiple Meta accounts. Sign in to more than one account. The library merges the games each account owns, and installs use the owning account's token. The Account dialog lists every account with its own sign-out and "Add another account". The Linux CLI gains riftlift accounts and riftlift logout [account].
  • Downloads. Uses meta-pcvr-downloader v0.1.3: dropped connections are retried, and a download stops at the first real failure. When a download fails, the install dialog shows why, with links and tokens removed. While large files are assembled, progress is shown in GB instead of sitting at "Downloading N/N".

The Windows installer is still not code-signed. If SmartScreen says it "protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway.
