- Epic Roller Coasters (and other Unity games that start the Oculus Platform asynchronously). RiftLift answered the platform's synchronous start-up calls but passed the asynchronous one to Meta's runtime, which never finishes under RiftLift. The game rendered, waited 15 seconds for sign-in, then quit. RiftLift now answers it locally, and the game reaches its menu.
- Launch arguments reach games exactly as written. Since 0.10.2, RiftLift's launcher wrapped the game path and every argument in quotes (
"-level" "gpr_020_post_tutorial"), which games that read their own command line don't recognise. Arguments are now quoted only when they contain spaces or quotes. This affects launches on both Windows and Linux. riftlift doctorworks again on Linux. Since 0.11.0,riftlift doctorcrashed with aTypeErrorbefore printing anything, with or without--no-paste. It now prints the diagnostic report, and--no-pastekeeps it local.- Launch options keep Windows paths. The Launch Options box treated backslashes as escape characters, so
C:\Logs\run.txtwas saved asC:Logsrun.txt. Paths are now kept as typed; use double quotes around values with spaces.
The Windows installer is still not code-signed. If SmartScreen says it "protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway.
