RiftLift 0.9.0 alpha 3
Pre-releaseRiftLift now owns its complete native Linux compatibility path in one repository. Oculus ABI calls cross Proton in-process into Linux OpenXR, while mixed Oculus/OpenVR titles use the bundled, pinned OpenVR translator—no helper daemon, second XR session, or separate fork setup.
This alpha fixes packaged OpenVR bridge injection, race-safe XRizer interface discovery, legacy Touch/D-pad bindings, versioned runtime updates, and Proton-compatible OpenVR runtime installation. The GUI/CLI setup installs both runtime payloads automatically.
Validated from real PSVR2 spectator output on the same build: Aircar, Echo VR, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Lone Echo, Oculus First Contact, StereoPaint, SUPERHOT VR, and Vader Immortal: Episode I.
This supersedes alpha 2, whose packaged launcher could reference an obsolete OpenVR bridge name.
