v2.5.0 — Orleans multitenancy, obsolete skills removed, and a choice on skill name clashes
LatestThis release adds a skill for multitenancy in Microsoft Orleans and makes dna check remove the skills a newer release no longer offers, e.g. due to a rename or a refactor in a source skills repo. Package: Agentic.Check 2.5.0; InnoWvate.Agentic 2.4.0 and InnoWvate.Dna 1.0.0 are unchanged.

What's new
New skill: orleans-multitenant. Multitenancy for Microsoft Orleans 10 with the Orleans.Multitenant package: per-tenant grain storage and tenant separation of grain calls and streams, with references for storage providers, stream filters, tenant-unaware streams and the upgrade from 4.x to 5.x. Offered for Orleans projects.
Skills a release no longer offers are removed. Until now a skill stayed in your repository after the release that offered it had replaced it, so an update left both generations side by side: on --preview, the Uno Platform Studio hubs next to the per-topic skills they consolidate. A check now removes every installed skill that its channel no longer offers, recognized by the repository and name that gh recorded when it installed the skill. Removals appear in the action list like any other action, selected, and the whole skill folder goes. Switching between the stable and the preview channel removes the other channel's skills, so a repository never carries both sets.
A choice when another repository now offers a skill under an installed name. That may be the same skill moved, or an unrelated one, so the check does not decide. The list shows the installed skill as a removal and the new one as an install, both unselected, with the reason in yellow under the rows; selecting the install brings the removal along. The same holds for a folder without an install record under a retired name. Unattended runs leave both as they are.
A new skill reaches stable with the release that ships it. A skill of this repository is installed from its latest release on the stable channel, so the manifest now records the first release that contains a skill, and the stable channel offers it from that release on; --preview has it at once.
Improvements and fixes
- A skill moved within its repository is re-installed from its new path instead of being left to
gh skill update, which follows the path recorded at install time. - The Uno Platform directive registers the Uno Platform MCP servers with a simpler
dnxcommand. - Setting up a dev environment is described for the current models and harnesses.
Upgrading from 2.4.1
Run dna check as usual; it runs the newest Agentic.Check by itself. The first run after upgrading may offer removals. On --preview, the per-topic Uno Platform Studio skills make way for the hubs; on the stable channel nothing is removed unless you switched channels before. Review the list before you confirm. A --yes run applies the selected removals and leaves the unselected rows alone. Directives and skills are otherwise unchanged except the Uno Platform directive, and InnoWvate.Agentic stays at 2.4.0.
Requirements
.NET 10 SDK and the GitHub CLI (gh). A GitHub login is optional.
