Correction

• Two layouts remain: by centre, with its original arrangement and 3D density control, and time branches, with each Topic at the centre of its branches. A saved by order or relation branches choice opens as time branches.

New

• A Topic centred map in 2D and 3D. An evenly spaced planar grid and spatial branches use orthogonal relation paths while preserving relation direction, dates and evidence.
• A Linux CLI archive for servers and headless machines, with signed checksums for every manual download.

Changed

• Larger graphs load more reliably. Routing removes avoidable detours, and 3D nodes stay visible at the overview distance.
• The CLI has readable output for read commands, consistent stderr errors and version reporting.

Fixed

• Document save, delete, import and share flows report their outcomes more clearly.
• Account key save failures preserve the previous key and allow retry. Settings handles saved key lookup failures.
• Engine connection readiness no longer waits for embedding preparation.
• Brief abstention preserves lexical and graph evidence.

Follow-up validation
Operating durability, search relevance quality, remaining native mode and folder switching, existing store and MCP/key behavior, and matched public engine checks are deferred by the owner. This release does not claim those checks passed. Production durable acknowledgements and the search relevance profile remain disabled.

Installers are in Assets. This is a corrected build of the same v0.9.7 release. Apps on an earlier version can update normally. If you already installed the original v0.9.7, download and install the corrected v0.9.7 again.

Vinc v0.9.6

Vinc 0.9.6: make things where you work, use your graph from outside the app, and find Korean words reliably.

• Make documents and nodes where you work: from the tree, the palette, a shortcut or a right-click. Type [[ to link a node, and connect or remove relations without leaving the page.
• Drag from one node to another to connect them in 3D and 2D (hold Alt, or Option on a Mac).
• Korean words are found even with a particle attached or inside a compound, and each result's excerpt shows the passage that matched.
• The vinc command, REST v1 and three Python packages reach the same graph as MCP.
• Make an Agent role from the desktop, and pick a period on the timeline.
• macOS 15 or later is now required. On Windows, the installer stops the running engine before it replaces it.

The first launch after the update rebuilds the search index. This takes a minute or two, and searching or saving may pause until it is done. Your documents and connections are untouched.

Vinc v0.9.5

Vinc 0.9.5, a fix for 0.9.4 on the desktop.

• Sign-in works even when the graph on this computer will not open. On some Windows computers a leftover file of unsaved changes stopped Vinc from starting, and sign-in failed as if the connection were down. Vinc now sets that file aside and starts.
• The sign-in screen opens right away, and if the engine cannot start it says so instead of asking you to check your connection.
• Quitting closes the graph properly, so it no longer leaves unsaved changes behind for the next launch.
