OpenMW-Web v1.5.4 — by Virtastic
No more rubber-banding when you hop. In multiplayer the server runs its own copy of your
character, and the game keeps you in line with it. While you were in the air, your jump and the
server's copy of it never quite matched, and the game kept tugging you toward the server's version
through every hop. It now lets a hop play out and only checks where you landed. In testing that cut
the pull while hopping by about four times. Mashing jump in mid-air also no longer sends phantom
jumps to the server.
Enemies stop teleporting. Creatures whose run animation carries them (mudcrabs, slaughterfish
and many others) moved faster on the server than the server reported, so on your screen they
walked, fell behind and then jumped forward to catch up. They now run when the server's copy runs,
and catch up by running instead of teleporting. A punch that lands also makes the enemy flinch now,
not only a hit that draws blood.
