- Global hotkey (
Cmd+Shift+C) — drag to select region, or press Enter for fullscreen - Full Retina resolution capture via native macOS
screencapture - Composite image — screenshot + user annotation + system metadata baked into one PNG
- LLM-safe annotation format — attribution-based, not model-directed commands
- Two-column panel — user request on the left, capture metadata on the right

Installation
- Download the universal DMG (recommended) or Apple Silicon DMG
- Open the DMG and drag VisionPipe to Applications
- On first launch: right-click the app → Open → "Open Anyway" (unsigned build)
- Grant Accessibility permissions when prompted
Requirements
- macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel supported via universal build)
- No accounts, no API keys, no cloud services
Known Limitations
- Not code-signed or notarized — requires right-click → Open on first launch
- Drawing tools are visual-only (not functional yet)
- Voice transcription is stubbed (not connected to Whisper yet)
- Windows build not included yet
