FlytWERX Bridge v1.1.0
Connects the FlytWERX iOS app to a desktop flight simulator over your local network (low latency) or the FlytWERX cloud relay.
Supported simulators
| Platform | Simulators |
|---|---|
| Windows | Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 & 2024), X-Plane, Prepar3D |
| macOS | X-Plane (separate macOS build — see release assets when published) |
Requirements
- Windows 10 or later (for this
.exe) - A supported simulator installed and running
- FlytWERX iOS app on your iPad / iPhone
- Same Wi‑Fi / LAN for Local server mode (recommended)
Note: The “Source code” zip/tar links GitHub adds automatically are not the app. Download
FlytWERX-Bridge.exefrom the Assets section above.
Installation
- Download
FlytWERX-Bridge.exe - Run it (no installer)
- If Windows SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway
- On first launch, create or open a sim profile (pairing code), or sign in with your FlytWERX account (email/password, Google, or Apple)
- Choose your simulator (or leave Auto-detect on)
- Prefer Local server mode for lowest latency
- In the FlytWERX app: Settings → Flight Sim Bridge → enter the bridge pairing code, then set telemetry source to Simulator
Tips
- MSFS / Prepar3D: load into an active flight (not just the main menu) so SimConnect can connect
- X-Plane: enable Settings → Network → Accept incoming connections
- Keep the bridge window open while flying; status should move from “Waiting for …” to Connected when data is flowing
- Optional: Account settings → start the bridge automatically when a sim opens
