Release list

v1.0.5

Choose a tag to compare

@Vitexus Vitexus released this 11 Sep 04:05

Fixed

  • The server no longer silently disappears from MCP catalogs/aggregators that expect the standard fastmcp framework (such as mcprack). Previously it shipped its own minimal, hand-rolled MCP implementation that was missing a few response fields required by newer clients, which made those clients reject its entire tool list even though the server was running fine. It now uses the same real fastmcp SDK as every other VitexSoftware MCP server.

Other Changes

  • Tool definitions now carry proper machine-readable annotations (read-only, destructive, idempotent, etc.), which helps clients like OpenAI's tool-use validation understand what each tool does before calling it.
  • Added an "M8ven Verified" badge to the README.

v1.0.4

Choose a tag to compare

@Vitexus Vitexus released this 28 Aug 22:04

Fixed

  • Posts written in a language other than English (e.g. Czech) no longer get mislabeled as "english" on Mastodon. When you don't explicitly set a language, status_post now auto-detects it from the text of the post before publishing.

Other Changes

  • Consolidated the project's two duplicate icon files into a single mastodon-mcp-server.svg, updated the README to match, and cleaned up the related Debian packaging.
